INGREDIENTS
For the Crust:
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
For the Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 lb (about 4 cups) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the Crust:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
Prepare the Filling:
In another large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until smooth.
Mix in the vanilla extract and melted butter.
